Coco Gauff is picking up the 2025 season right where she left off in 2024. She won the WTA Finals in Riyadh. En route to the victory, she defeated both the number one and two ranked players. Although she still has a losing record (3:11) against Iga Swiatek, the American has been victorious in their last two consecutive tournaments. Gauff can only continue to grow and improve her game. If they both stay healthy, the American can even and eventually take the lead in their head-to-head.
Coco Gauff Wants The Australian Open Title
Coco Gauff along with every player entered in the draw wants to take home the Australian Open trophy. Unlike ninety-seven percent of the draw, she has a realistic chance of doing so. This dominant performance at the United Cup will certainly increase her confidence. She came close last year, losing in the semifinal round. Will this be her year to lift the trophy in victory? American fans will be delighted if she does.
