Dominic Stricker with his fourth round performance at the US Open gets the mover of the week honors. He cracked the top hundred barrier after climbing thirty-eight spots to number ninety. Although the season is winding down, he hopes to keep building on this for the rest of the season.
Opportunity For Dominic Stricker
There is always a letdown after a major and as the last major of the season, players are exhausted. Expect a lot of the top players to take a well-deserved break. This latter stage of the season is the perfect time for the lower ranked players to potentially win a title or two, because the opposition if often not as tough. Will Stricker take advantage of this opportunity?

ATP & WTA Top 10 Ranking Changes
ATP: there were some positional changes in the top ten. Alexander Zverev is back in the top ten, he replaced Frances Tiafoe at #10. Stefanos Tsitsipas and Andrey Rublev both moved up two spots to #5 and #6, respectively. Yannik Sinner fell one spot to #7, and Taylor Fritz climbed up one spot to #8. Casper Ruud fell four spots to #9. The current top four players are: [1] Novak Djokovic; [2] Carlos Alcaraz; [3] Daniil Medvedev; and [4] Holger Rune.
WTA: there were several positional changes in the top ten. There is a new number one, Aryna Sabalenka, she traded place with Swiatek. Gauff moved up three spots and Jessica Pegula fell two spots to #5. Ons Jabeur fell two spots to #7. Karolina Muchova moved up two spots to #8. Maria Sakkari fell one spot to #9 and Caroline Garcia fell three spots to #10. The current top four players are: [1] Aryna Sabalenka; [2] Iga Swiatek; [3] Coco Gauff; and [4] Elena Rybakina.
