Ajla Tomljanovic Will Be Forever Remembered

Ajla Tomljanovic

Ajla Tomljanovic will be remembered forever as the last woman to defeat Serena Williams, if the US Open was indeed Williams’ last professional tournament. Interesting thing to note about Tomljanovic, she has been on tour since 2007 and gets to a career high of thirty-four in 2022. What’s even more interesting, she has never won a singles title.

Ajla Tomljanovic Gets Mover Of The Week Honors

Ajla Tomljanovic proves like so many other players, who have yet to win a singles title, or who will never win a singles title, just how difficult it is to string together matches to win a tournament. All the more reason why we have to appreciate the effort of those players who win a title. It’s never too late, but time is running out for the Australian, we wish for her to claim her first title in the not-too-distant future.
