Tommy Paul Is Making Noise In Montreal

Tommy Paul

Tommy Paul claimed his first singles title in 2021, six years after he turned professional. As an avid tennis fan, I have followed so much tennis, I have seen so many players with talent. However, despite the talent, I have also seen so many players struggle to win a singles title, much less live up to their full potential.

Fans Always Expect More From The Athlete

It is so easy sitting on the sidelines, demanding that the player do better, but we do not know what variables may be preventing them from playing their best. They do not play tennis in a vacuum. They have lives with problems just like you and me. They may also struggle with doubts and self-confidence, just like you and me. Therefore, despite their obvious talent, it does not always translate in the success of titles and improved ranking.

Tommy Paul Achieved A Career High Of 32

At twenty-five years old, Paul still has time on his side; however, we know how quickly that time can fly by. He took advantage of his one opportunity, winning the singles title the first time he made it to a final. He has been playing consistently well this season. The question as usual is, “Is he ready to step up his game to another level?” That means beating the top ranked players consistently and winning the bigger titles. He is better than a thirty-two ranked player.
