Amanda Anisimova has the talent, everyone knows it. Yet sometimes it takes a while to get things sorted especially since life can intervene painfully. She is finding her way and the tennis world is excited for her.

It seems like she has been around a long time, but that is because she has been on the radar from an early age. In 2018 she made it to her first singles final. Although she did not win the title, she gained a lot from the experience. In 2019, at seventeen years old, she won her first WTA singles title and also reached her highest ranking of twenty-one.

How High Can Anisimova Climb?

Every tennis player wants to be number one and win the majors. I think Anisimova can win the big titles and has the potential to be in the top ten if she can stay healthy. The variable that no one can control especially as an athlete is injury. Winning her second title in Melbourne is a step in the right direction.

The last American man to be in the top ten was John Isner in May 2019. Sofia Kenin [12], Cori “Coco” Gauff [19], Jessica Pegula [22], and Jennifer Brady [27] are the top four women.
