Mover Of The Week
The mover of the week honors goes to Heather Watson. It has been a rough couple of years for the British player; however, it looks like she is bent on getting back on track in this season. She made it to the semifinals of the Hobart International tournament, and no doubt is hoping to take that form and go deep at the Australian Open. She will play her first-round match tomorrow against the big serving Czech Kristyna Pliskova.
Watson, like so many players, saw her ranking drop due to injury. Once ranked as high as number thirty-eight, she is looking to turn things around this season. At twenty-seven-years-old, she is perfectly positioned to do just that. Older and wiser now, she will use her experience to better maximize her potential. Can she get back to her career high?
