History was made this month by Stefanos Tsitsipas; the twenty year old became the first Greek player to win an ATP World Tour title when he won his first singles title by defeating Ernests Gulbis to claim the Intrum Stockholm Open trophy. Eighteen year old Dayana Yastremska made it to her first WTA final and won her first singles title at the Hong Kong Tennis Open. No longer in the shadow of his much more famous countryman, Andy Murray; Kyle Edmund won his first singles title at the European Open. Congratulations to all the first time champions.

The WTA season ends for most of the women at the end of the BNP Paribas WTA Finals; however, some players try to get the most out of their season by playing in a few smaller tournaments offered by the WTA (Mumbai Open, Open de Limoges, Taipei OEC Open and the WTA Elite Trophy Zhuhai).
