The last major of the season, the US Open, was completed in September and it left shock waves around the tennis world; yet, enough has been said about all the drama that surrounded the final. Instead, let us focus on all the positives and give congratulations to Naomi Osaka, who won her first major title. Congratulations must also be given to all the first time champions this month. For those who came close to winning their first career title, take comfort from the fact that you got to a final. Although that may not be as comforting right now, you have hopefully learned some more from the experience and will win your first title the next time you get to another final.
