Aliaksandra Sasnovich gets the mover of the week honors with her impressive performance at the Brisbane International. Although she did not win the title, she knocked out four higher ranked players en route to the final. She lost to Elina Svitolina in the final rather easily; however, she can walk away from this tournament with a lot of positives. With the Australian Open less than a week away, Sasnovich will hope to take this form and her new career high ranking of fifty-three deep in the draw of the first major of the season.

 ATP Tour:  there were no changes in the top ten members and they all maintained their exact positions from last week.

WTA Tour: while there were no changes in the members of the top ten, there was a bit of shuffling of positions. Garbine Muguruza fell to #3; Caroline Wozniacki moved up to #2; Elina Svitolina is back at #4; and Karolina Pliskova fell to #6. Simona Halep remains in the top spot.

TOP US MAN & WOMAN remain the same as the previous week with Jack Sock holding at #8 and Venus Williams still going strong at #5.

SPOTLIGHT PLAYER: Alexander Zverev is still at #4.
