WEEK: 01.08.2018
Aliaksandra Sasnovich gets the mover of the week honors with her impressive performance at the Brisbane International. Although she did not win the title, she knocked out four higher ranked players en route to the final. She lost to Elina Svitolina in the final rather easily; however, she can walk away from this tournament with a lot of positives. With the Australian Open less than a week away, Sasnovich will hope to take this form and her new career high ranking of fifty-three deep in the draw of the first major of the season.
