Seeded players are notoriously vulnerable in the first round of Majors. **Cepelova has a tendency to rise to the occasion at the Majors and has caught a few seeds by surprise in the past. UPSET OF THE DAY: [5] Stan Wawrinka lost to [49] Daniil Medvedev. While it may appear to be an upset based on their rankings, Wawrinka has never done well on grass and the young Russian has been playing very well on this surface. He won 6-4, 3-6, 6-4, 6-1 to win his first ever match at a Major.
