The second Major (Roland Garros) of the year has come to an end and there were many significant changes in the rankings on both the ATP and WTA Tours. The new female French Open Champion, Jelena Ostapenko, gets the mover of the week honors; she jumped 35 spots to a career high of number 12. Congratulations to the young Latvian, she is sure to climb much higher in the rankings if she continues to play this well.

ATP Tour: the top ten members remained the same. However, Rafael Nadal moved up to #2, while Novak Djokovic moved down to #4. Marin Cilic and Dominic Thiem traded places. The remaining members maintained their previous positions.
WTA Tour: there was quite a lot of shuffling around of the top ten members. Garbine Muguruza fell out of the top ten and was replaced by Caroline Wozniacki (#7). Serena Williams fell to #4. Simona Halep is now at #2. Elina Svitolina and Dominika Cibulkova each moved up one spot. Karolina Pliskova, Svetlana Kuznetsova and Agnieszka Radwanska maintained their previous positions.
SPECIAL MENTION: there are ten American men in the top 100 and they are led by Jack Sock (#18).
