[6] Kei Nishikori (JPN) had a much easier time today against the brilliant but inconsistent [22] Benoit Paire (FRA). Nishikori won 6-3, 6-2. He’s into his third consecutive final and hopes that Nadal does not interrupt his plans.
[5] Rafael Nadal (ESP) had some resistance from the always dangerous German, [27] Philipp Kohlschreiber. Nadal won 6-3, 6-3 and will get the opportunity to play for his ninth Barcelona title; however, standing in his way is a familiar foe, Nishikori.

[40] Federico Delbonis (ARG) ran into the in-form young Frenchman, [72] Lucas Pouille. Pouille is showing the form that got him noticed when he first burst on the scene in 2012. Pouille won 7-6(4), 6-3 and gets the opportunity to contest his first ATP singles title.
[86] Fernando Verdasco (ESP) defeated his countryman, [37] Guillermo Garcia Lopez 6-3, 3-6, 6-2. Verdasco is hoping to win his first singles title since 2014.

PORSCHE TENNIS GRAND PRIX
Defending Champion, [3] Angelique Kerber (GER) kept her hopes alive by defeating [7] Petra Kvitova (CZE) 6-4, 4-6, 6-2.
Qualifier, [71] Laura Siegemund (GER) continues to play impressive tennis. Today she knocked out [2] Agnieszka Radwanska (POL) 6-4, 6-2. She is in her first WTA singles final and is hoping to defeat her countrywoman and defending champion to claim her first title.
TEB BNP PARIBAS ISTANBUL CUP
[60] Danka Kovinic (MNE) defeated [129] Kateryna Kozlova (UKR) 7-5, 6-4. Kovinic will contest her second career WTA singles final.
Hometown favorite, [118] Cagla Buyukakcay defeated [116] Stefanie Voegele (SUI) 6-0, 7-5. Buyukakcay will contest her first career WTA singles final and is hoping that the crowd support will spur her on to victory tomorrow.
