I applaud Li Na and although I cannot comprehend the degree of emotion behind her decision, I recognize how difficult it was to make that decision to walk away from her career as a professional tennis player.

She is absolutely correct in stating that “all good things must come to an end.”

Change is the one thing that is a constant in life.  Sometimes you can struggle with change; yet, accepting the change in her reality that she was no longer able to perform at her best, in a sport that demands 100%, is what Li Na did.

You could always count on her to give it her all and when she was no longer capable or willing to do that, she retired, what more can you expect from a Champion.
