The 2014 US Open Women’s Final will be contested by best friends.  Serena struggles when playing family and friends; however, will that change tomorrow?

Does her desire for a Major title in 2014 and her 18th Major title overall, outweigh her unease at playing her best friend on tour?

We want a competitive match and that can only happen if both players play at their highest level.  The desire for her first Major title should cause Caroline Wozniacki to forget who is across the net.  Likewise, Serena should put aside her misgivings and be equally focused on winning this match.

Still there is always that factor that comes into play and ruin plans, nerves.  Who will be affected most, Serena or Caroline?
