2005, the last time [CR20]Tommy Robredo (ESP) defeated [CR1] Novak Djokovic (SRB). He can celebrate tonight this well deserved victory over the Serb.  He fought to the bitter end because Djokovic was just as determined to win this match.

7-6(6), 7-5 was the final score in the upset victory by the Spaniard.

Was it really an upset though?  Robredo a seasoned player, once ranked in the top ten, seems to be understanding his potential a lot better now that he is older.  He is putting to use ever ounce of this wisdom against the top players these days.  One should certainly be prepared for a fight whenever Robredo steps on court, unless of course his body has other plans.
